Travel back to Harlem during The Golden Age of Modern Music. A truly fascinating journey.

Two teens, one white, one black, each with the same dream: to become jazz musicians. Humiliated after his solo debut in an open jam session, white saxophone student Stormy Keys, his dream shattered, aimlessly wanders the streets of Harlem, until...an unexpected and serendipitous encounter with the enigmatic, bearded and bespectacled Dr. Saxx, African American jazz saxophone master and mentor, shapes his destiny.

Once Upon a Tune cleverly captures the quest of most aspiring musicians who endeavor to find their sound, which is really his or her own voice. They strive to hear it, be associated with it and for it to become their unique expression. They seek to find that right combination of notes and perfectly arrange them. This is a life-long pursuit.

The story is more than a fast train that harkens you back to a time of golden music, with a Count, a Duke, a Queen and a plethora of newcomers trying to make the cut. At its heart, it's a story of friendship between two young men from two different worlds. A friendship cultivated through time, but not eroded by it. Yeah, a one in a million friendship that transcends space, time, history, race and gender. What more could I say? It's a friendship approved by our creator, the definition of agape love. It's a story of hope and love for the music and it pays homage to those players that paved the way, like Dr. Saxx.
