Myles, a young history teacher from Atlanta, never imagined his trip to Ireland would become a journey through time. Haunted by the recent loss of his brother, he'd set out to explore the ancient castles and landscapes they'd always dreamed of seeing together. But when he stumbles upon a hidden waterfall tucked away in a cave, a strange energy pulses through him, and he finds himself flung back over 300 years into the past. Suddenly in the midst of the 17th century, Myles is bewildered by an unfamiliar world. Befriended by a kind farming couple, he begins to piece together his new reality, learning tales about the waterfall's power and the enigmatic "Elder Folks" who allegedly guard its secrets. Along the way, he encounters another time traveler, Adam, who becomes a crucial ally in his quest to understand this phenomenon and find a way back to his own time. But Myles's journey is far from straightforward. He finds himself caught in a web of forbidden love, held prisoner by a pirate, and thrust into the heart of the Cromwellian invasion. As he navigates this treacherous past, he realizes that his presence could alter the course of history, and he must make a devastating choice that will test his courage and loyalty.

Rob Mylo Vazquez is an emerging author who spent his early years in Puerto Rico before relocating to the Bronx, New York City, at the age of 5 with his family. During his early adulthood, he explored his passion for writing by crafting song lyrics for local vocalists and experimenting with poetry and spoken word. He pursued his interest in acting at Julia Richmond High School and also attended the East Harlem Music School. Currently residing in Orlando, Florida, he is enjoying his retirement while actively pursuing his writing career.
