The tales of the Rift 'gobbling girls whole on their wedding day if they were unworthy' were told as children's stories to frighten the fawn into submission. At least, that's what Ace had believed. It was on her wedding day that these stories were proven to be true as the Rift opened and creatures came through.

When her younger sister is taken by the creatures, Ace puts her fear at the back of her mind and crosses the Rift to save her family. The rabbit hole of insanity that she falls down after crossing it was not something she was prepared for.

Ace is forced to come face to face with the possibility that saving her sister might be more complicated than she realizes. Will she be able to find who she truly is in this wonderland? Or will the madness consume her like it has everyone else?
