Ryan is more than a baseball player As a child Ryan Lavarnway's confidence soared when he had a glove and ball in his hand. Off the field, he struggled to find where he belonged. When Team Israel called, Ryan was thrilled to play baseball for a new kind of team. Playing in the World Baseball Classic and Olympics with his teammates changed his life. Nothing would ever be the same.
