Everybody wants to be a winner. The goal of this
book is to help leaders build a championship culture
through conversations, activity prompts, and mind
exercises. If these strategies are followed and implemented,
it will raise the mental capacity, mental fortitude, and
preparation of any group or individual for the intense
journey to success. As I prepared to write, I realized that this
mentality can be applied in sports, business, or any form of
leadership. Being a champion at every level of sports (high
school, college, and professional) as both a player and a
coach, has given me insight into what it takes to build a
championship culture for long-term success. I felt it was
necessary to share what I learned with others as a roadmap
to the ultimate goal: SUCCESS.
The title of this book is: Do It 4 the Culture. What is
Culture? Culture is the foundation of any success or failure.
It is the written and unwritten rules that we abide by that
take us down the path to our goal. It's the way we do things
that send messages and sets the bar for expected behavior.
Culture includes our habits and directs our energy and
emotion toward our goals. Culture is the embodiment of the
group where everyone takes ownership of the outcome
before the journey begins. It is what cultivates talent or
hinders it. We are all simply the product of the culture that
we establish and accept.
