I could tell you this is a book on healing on breakups on make-ups on first dates and heartaches. I could say, "this is every word I wish I had said and a few I'd give anything to take back." I could explain that these pages hold the secrets only my bedroom walls knew as truths and the warmth of the sunlight that faithfully kissed my skin after every sleepless night. I could go on and on. And all of it would be true. Yet, never quite true enough. So I'll just say this is the story of every time I have gazed into the most humbling and exposing mirror this life gives us.
