Anne Lamberty didn't know what she was getting into. Her life up to this point had been routinely simple, and borderline-disappointing in her eyes. She was a struggling actress in New York City with a fiance and a cat, nothing more, nothing less. So when she got a role in the regional tour of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, she secretly waited for the other shoe to drop. Before it could however, Todd Booker walked into the first rehearsal.

The energy between Anne and Todd was immediate, palpable and couldn't be ignored. Just thinking of being huddled up with this guy in the intimate confines of a tour bus, hopping state-to-state from hotel to hotel, and playing with him in front of live audiences scared, and excited her at the same time; a feeling she hadn't had since her early dating days with her beau.
