Spike Puts His Paw Down

Who likes getting left behind when someone goes off on a fun adventure?! Spike the cat sure doesn't like it and he is determined to show his displeasure. Enough is enough! "Spike puts his paw down" and draws up a plan to get attention to this bothersome problem. The story, "Spike Puts His Paw Down" is based on an actual crazy event involving my mother-in-law, in this book "Grandma Lizzie," who loves to travel, and her two adorable kitties, "Spike" and "Mike," who do not appreciate being left behind. Spike disappears, and the numerous, often over the top, attempts to find him evolve into this mad cap adventure.

This book is meant for grades 3-4 (can be stretched to 2-5) and is written in play form.
