As soon as Echis inadvertently came across her connection she ran. Unfortunately for her, Diad was very stubborn when it came to tracking his conversance down. Unfortunately, despite how stubborn the Andromadan was when it came to the woman his soul called to, his heart already belonged to another. Diad was extremely happy when a heart bruised Ech gave him an out and he was able to return to his obsessed love for another. An obsession that turns out to be so much more. Heartbreakingly toxic in so many ways. Diad is left alone, struggling to recover from the mental trauma left behind. At least he is until Ech is forced to return. He is amazed at her forgiving nature when she takes his hand and guides him out of that darkness. And in doing so, the couple inadvertently fly right into an incoming war zone. The Rocky Mountain Base is in for a bad time as beloved characters do everything they can in order to survive the Sky War that has descended upon them.
