The Gypsy of Berlin, an historical mystery, finds book critic Thomas Rost searching in the capital of wartime Germany for leads on a lost diary. Bodies are piling up around his investigation and his involvement with a woman who escaped from the Gestapo is complicating matters. Political intrigue, personal jealousy and different agendas conspire to create hazardous obstacles to Rost's hunt for the missing book, as does his growing love for the fugitive, Ingrid. This is the second part of the Berlin Trilogy.
