A phantom from the past known as Abraxan springs a plethora of dangerous perils. Peter learns of his heritage as a Shadowfang, and begins to uncover secrets about himself and his friends that pose a risk to everyone he loves. Re-ocurring nightmares filled with blood bubble to the surface, ushered in by haunting songs that spell doom.

What unfolds is a sprawling experience of mysterious beings, nightmarish creatures, mythical talking swords, magic covens, power struggles and the looming ominous question of the inner battle within.
