In the 1970's a trucker started a female topless boxing club when his wife was looking for an opponent. The club died down in the 1990's. However, when his granddaughter learned about the club, for which her grandmother boxed, she and her friends decided to start their own female fighting club. They changed the rules to stand-up striking with knees, elbows and MMA-gloved hands. They soon learned it was easier to start a topless boxing club in the 1970's than it was in the new millennium. But they also found that many women were still eager to compete bare-chested in combat sports.
