For years, The Evangelist had prayed that God would raise a simple boy from the mines or the fields, not from the universities, so that pride and intellectualism wouldn't be fed, but rather all the glory would go to God and God had found his man in Evan Roberts. On October 31, 1904, Everett invited a group of young people to come and gather as he shared his heart for revival with the 16 young people, the fire of God fell upon them.
