He studied at the School of Design in England, and later moved to New York in 1853 where he studied at the National Academy of Design. Throughout his career, Brown's subject themes often included depictions of street urchins, newspaper sellers and scenes reflective of everyday life in America from a British perspective. How to use the prints: The one-sided prints are ideal for framing, collage, decoupage, and papercrafts, they can be removed from the book by either using a box cutter or scissors.
