Anastasia and her mother don’t agree on anything. Her mother insists Anastasia should marry a rich man, give up her regular job, and just raise children to help out the colony of Eris. Anastasia refuses. She is sent to a psychiatric hospital for rehabilitation. Finally she is give a pass to visit her mother, but Anastasia doesn’t go back to her mother. She takes off to another small town on Eris and discovers a werecat. Unfortunately, the doctor, her mother, and the rich man find out and go visit her.
