Madison O'Connor lives a very ordinary well-planned life until she receives the devastating news of her Great-Uncle John's death. Soon after his funeral, she discovers that she has been named heir of his Wyoming ranch, along with her two sisters. Instead of selling it, the three of them decide to open their own business, using the ranch they inherited.

In the small country of Altanaria, Max is told by his father that he will need to take his elder brother's place in the family business. Upset with this news, Max leaves his small country and travels to a small dusty ranch in Wyoming to hide out while deciding what to do next.

Madison and Max begin to work together to get the new business off the ground while spending time getting to know each other. But when a major secret Max is keeping surfaces, will they be able to trust each other with their futures?
