Rachel Perkins had loved Billy Jenkins since they were just children, but one horrible mistake changed everything. Could that love be restored? She prayed to God that it would.

Billy was somewhat of a legend in their small school. He oozed self-confidence. His dark brown wavy hair, brown eyes and dimples could make any girl’s heart flutter. Every boy in school wanted to be him and every girl wanted to date him.

Rachel, on the other hand, was quiet and reserved, always obedient. She excelled at school and was a favorite of most of the teachers. In spite of this, she had very little self-confidence and considered herself plain and ordinary.
