Although Busker Burn and The Digitals have made great strides in wiping out the Glitchling infestation, they find themselves sideswiped by a new and more dangerous type of Glitchling. Called NextGen Glitchlings, these upgraded Glitchlings are actually glitched players who exchange their sanity for overwhelming power. Combined with the ability to respawn like normal players and these NextGen Glitchlings, despite being fewer in number than the normal ones, might be even worse than the original kind.

Then Darkhold, having resurfaced from his previous defeat at Busker’s hands, steals Busker’s backup character data from SI Games’ servers themselves. His goal: Create an army of powerful Busker Burn clones to crash Capes Online outright, forcing Busker to seek him out before he can put his plans into action.

Yet neither Darkhold nor the NextGen Glitchlings are the worst threat that Busker faces. A conspiracy that goes all the way to the SI Games Board of Directors threatens to destroy not only Busker, but Capes Online itself in the epic conclusion to the VR Hero series.
