SYNOPSIS OF THE BOOK In "My Name is Renee", the author reflects on her life, convinced that the intense experiences she has had are the result of a mysterious higher order. Searching for answers to questions beyond human control, she eventually embraces life as a great teacher to learn from. Determined to share her story of resilience, the author writes this autobiographical book, hoping it will inspire, comfort and instill hope in those who feel lost on a difficult road ahead. The book is a selection of key events that marked her growth; the focus is on the obstacles she overcame and the moments when she found the strength to be reborn. In this touching story, Renee shares her tenacious passion for life and the search for meaning in her existence. THE AUTHOR: RENEE URGERT Renee Urgert (The Hague, 1956) spent her childhood and early youth in the Netherlands. In 1983 she moved to Italy. Educator, teacher, writer, traveler. From 2013 to 2019 she lived in Sint Maarten in the Dutch Caribbean. She currently lives in the Veronese countryside with her dogs and cats. In Italy she has published "Beyond the Horizon Line," "The Dutchman: A Guide to Communication," "A Journey to Southern India," "A Journey to the Yucatan," and "My Name is Renee."
