Das 1. Buch Mose, hebraisch (bere'sit) Bereschit, altgriechisch (Genesis) Genesis genannt, ist das erste Buch des judischen Tanach, des samaritanischen Pentateuch wie auch des christlichen Alten Testaments (auch bezeichnet als Erstes Testament oder Hebraische Bibel), und damit das erste Buch der verschiedenen Fassungen des biblischen Kanons.
