Knowing Thyself

Knowing thyself is not an easy exercise at all. It is very difficult to be completely honest with thyself. No wonder only a few undertake this project. Of course, it is difficult but that is not an ample excuse to ignore this self-liberating undertaking. our self-worth, and equips us with the truth that liberates. The Bible says, you shall know the truth and the truth will make you free - John 8:32. By all means, the truth will initially make you angry, nevertheless, if you strive to embrace the truth of yourself, you certainly will experience healthy progress in many segments of your life benefits it offers. Arguably, it is said that in life three things are so hard to crack: Steel, diamond, and knowing thyself. This is so because these items are all buried treasures whose mining and refinement take a lot of hard work. But once mined, the gains are huge. Effectively, what I am saying is that if we become aware of who we are, we position ourselves well for greater success and wholesome development. Indeed, several of us shy away from engaging in this exercise, yet its role in our personal, social, and spiritual development is a critical one.
