Manners Maketh Man: Adventures of a Bo school Boy is the story of an alumnus of a prominent public school in Sierra Leone. Its episodes depict growing up in fifties and sixties Sierra Leone gnerally, and in its schools in particular. It is a story about institutional structures and structures, about inter-school rivalry and competitions, and about the role of schools in forging solidarity in the midst of ethnic diversity.
