The material in this book integrates the presentation of information, the development of ideas, the reinforcement and application of Social Science skills and the fostering of positive attitudes.Three types of activities appear at the end of each section. There are exercises to ensure the comprehension of material and to develop skills; there are Things to discuss and Thing to do.
