The subject of the Kingdom of God is primarily the message of the gospel. The Gospel is about the King of Kings and the coming Kingdom. This was the core message of the LORD Jesus Christ. Though lost to the contemporary Christian, it is the gospel that the apostles of the early Church preached. This book seeks to reintroduce this lost gem to the hurting and disillusioned world with a waning Christian Influence. The author traces this concept from the very beginning of time, to when and how it was lost and how to rediscover and appropriate its full benefits here and now, and live victoriously every day.The teachings of Jesus Christ and those of His apostles indicate that we can actually experience this kingdom now. This is the goal of this book; that the people of God should go beyond their denominations and their religions, to embrace the central message of Jesus Christ and to begin to experience the Kingdom life now, and to enjoy the rights, the privileges and the benefits thereof but also undertake the duties and responsibilities of the Kingdom of God thereof.The concept of the Kingdom was God’s original idea and plan from the very beginning, long before the corruptible thoughts invaded the mind of man. The concept did not originate from man. Religion and all other forms of governments set by man are futile attempts by man to regain the Kingdom; they have always failed and will always fail. God’s purposes and plans however shall never pass away. For the Kingdom citizens to truly appropriate the full benefits of the Kingdom life, along with the privileges and authority it comes with, every citizen must undergo the process of mindset change-to shed off the mental chains imposed by religion and man’s traditions, and embrace the kingdom life as a lifestyle.Kingdom life is a life of victory over the world. Kingdom life gives us power and authority over circumstances not just in this life but also in the life after death. Our LORD Jesus has already conquered the world. He has also paid the full price for our sins and rebellion against God, that we should no longer live as slaves to sin and in subjection to the evil one. Provision has been made to ensure the victory for every believer by faith alone on account of what Jesus Christ has done on the cross. By continuing in the word of God, we receive the grace to say no to all forms of ungodliness, as well as the divine empowerment to live self-controlled upright lives here on earth as we wait with blessed hope for the appearance of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ (Titus 2:11)
