The Royal Asiatic Society’s China branch in Shanghai produces a journal annually containing articles about China"s history and culture. The RAS Journal is a journal that has been produced by the Royal Asiatic Society since 1834. The China branch of RAS produced journals through the late 19th century and the first half of the 20th century, and the Shanghai RAS was relaunched in 2007. The first of the new generation of journals was published in 2010. Earnshaw Books has published all of the new-era RAS China Journals, which is five editions to date. The latest edition includes articles on topics such as the history of the Royal Asiatic Society, and a review and analysis of media myths in China and Japan.
