The Injustice to Dou E Snow in Midsummer is a Chinese folk tale about the legend of Snow in midsummer. Dou E was working far away. Their neighbor Zhang and his son took advantage of them and framed Dou E’s family for a crime. Dou E confessed in order to save her grandmother and before she was to be executed, she made three wishes hoping they would come true and exonerate the family.
