Take Heed and Beware of Leaven is Jesus’ warning to Christians everywhere and in every generation, as He had previously warned His disciples while He was here on the earth. He had told them to take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, Sadducees, and the Herodians. To this end, the author looks at what constitutes doctrine and its corruption. The author also discusses the very pressing issue of spiritual/church leaders and hypocrisy and the need for sanctification, a subject that has largely been forgotten in the church today.

The author ends his discourse by using the satirical story of Goatee, the goat that loved to eat grass and how its owner tried to get it to stop eating grass. This satirical story illustrates how Christians and pastors have missed the very essence of changing lives through the gospel and how they may get back on track.
