"A Night at the E.R. Other Tales and Musings" is a collection of short stories of action, adventure and horror; as well as various poems and original artwork. It begins "In the Heat" as a young doctor ruminates over his life decisions, walking down a lonely road to the hospital. Then proceeds to the titular story, an action-packed roller coaster of mystery, intrigue and superstition sweeps over Doctor Fergusson and his E.R. staff. His reflections on the human condition follow this, told through poetry and illustrations, then a tale from his childhood and lastly; a fantasy adventure.
