Susie Alter has been a writer from a very young age. However, it was at the height of COVID-19, while her husband was dying of cancer and she was out of work, that Susie wrote her debut children's book Sally Sea Star, an endeavor that brought healing to her soul. Writing during this tumultuous time was not only her creative escape but also her way of bringing love and healing back to others during a truly heartbreaking period. Just as God brought love back to her through her book, Susie desires that the Sally Sea Star series will also bring love back to anyone who reads it and help people to discover their true creative gifts. Susie is the mother of two adult sons and two fur babies (her dogs), and she is an advocate for choosing to be loving always.
