Mommy’s Favorite Planet is the 11th book by author Daniel Gershkovitz following the publication of The Elephant Who Got Bullied, an individual story that will become part of a future collection; We Can Do It, a collection of four stories; and We Can Do Anything, with five more.

The idea for this book was conceived by his seven-year-old son, Lior, who wanted him to write about the Solar System he finds so fascinating to investigate. His inspiration made this project so much fun.

Just like Daniel’s other works, Mommy’s Favorite Planet also deals with social values, so significant to children’s lives. In addition, this book includes many interesting facts about each planet, so curious children can learn more about the universe we live in.

The story was written in rhyme, accompanied by colorful pictures. In the last pages (of the e-book version on Amazon Books), children will find puzzles and activities specially designed for them.
