Made in Paris

Far from the usual cliches about the City of Light, the three photographers of Made in Paris propose an ‘imaginary’ journey on what makes up the visual identity of a city: everyday life confronting our gaze. The typical and predictable moves: there are no monuments, pregnant views, exaggerated and predictable perspectives, but business fronts, commercial signs, plaques and signage of all kinds, details of street art and casual design. Page after page they offer us a particular alphabet to decipher Paris and its specificity. Symbols and multiple icons that are inscribed in the memory of citizens, tourists and the flamenco, drawing a particular, unique silhouette.
