Marelys Valencia (Matanzas, 1970) es doctora en Literatura y Cultura Latinoamericanas. Su primer volumen de poesia, Pielago de sombras, fue finalista del Premio Poeta en Nueva York, convocado por Valparaiso Ediciones. En Bokeh ha publicado tambien Peregrinaje en tres lapsos / Pilgrimage in Three Lapses (2021). Reside en los Estados Unidos y es profesora en Saint Mary's College, Notre Dame. / Marelys Valencia (Matanzas, 1970) holds a PhD in Latin American Literature and Culture. Her first poetry collection, Pielago de sombras, was a finalist of the Valparaiso Editions First International Poetry Prize Poet in New York. Bokeh published her volume of poetry Peregrinaje en tres lapsos / Pilgrimage in Three Lapses (2021). She lives in the United States, and is a professor at Saint Mary's College, Notre Dame.
