Amauri Gutierrez Coto (La Habana, 1974) ha publicado Acerca de lo negro y la africania en la lengua literaria de Motivos de Son (2002), Origenes y el paraiso de la eticidad (2011) y El grupo Origenes de Lezama Lima (2012), y dos volumenes de poesia: Diario de un intruso (2002) y Aprendiz de mudo (2013). Actualmente es profesor asistente en Lafayette College y editor-jefe de Caribe, revista de literatura y cultura.
