Atilio Caballero (Cienfuegos, 1959) formo parte del grupo Paideia y del comite de redaccion de la revista Naranja Dulce. Ha publicado, entre otros, los volumenes de poesia El sabor del agua (1991) y La arena de las plazas (1998), los relatos de El azar y la cuerda (1995), Tarantula (2000) y Rosso lombardo (2013), y las novelas Naturaleza muerta con abejas (1997) y La ultima playa (1999). Reside en Cienfuegos, donde dirige el grupo Teatro de La Fortaleza.
