AUTHOR: Colm Boyd is a freelance writer from County Cork (Ireland) who has been based in Barcelona since 2003. He is a regular contributor to websites and other publications for educational organisations such as Macmillan and The British Council. He also writes for a leading wellness app. As for music, Colm runs his own blog (picnicenglish.com), where he posts language lessons based on pop lyrics, as well as occasionally delirious reviews of new music releases. His musical tastes have been described as ‘dumbfounding’, which he has decided to take as a compliment. The Illustrated Book of Songs is his first book.
