It's okay was originally based on the idea of a series of epistolary poems to my family, friends and lovers. Ideally, I wanted the poems to hold little messages that I could never find myself to say. But over time, I found myself having written a mixture of letters, which included advice to myself and others, love letters and expressing how I felt.
