Dose of the Dozens was written as part of a 21 day poetry challenge. The title "Dose of the Dozens" was a play on the number 21 backwards as the poems in this novel detail the tug of war between wanting to stay in the past versus seeking hope and wanting to forth in the future. These poems details the dangers in dancing back and forth with rumination and how one can still seek balance in such turbulent patterns. These poems convey the salient message of vulnerability and resilience that comes with introspection and the willingness to move forward with newfound insight.
