Don Quixote is a Spanish novel by Miguel de Cervantes. It was originally published in two parts, in 1605 and 1615. Regarded as one of the greatest works of fiction, this typical picaresque novel has been an inspiration for various works of art, literature and music. It continues to be admired by its readers.
