This epic poetry book is a combo of two the great war epic of Western literature "The Aeneid by Virgil" and "The Iliad by Homer"

The Aeneid - An Introduction

The Aeneid is a that tells the legendary story of Aeneas, a Trojan who fled the fall of Troy and travelled to Italy, where he became the ancestor of the Romans. Written by the Roman poet Virgil. The first six of the poem's twelve books tell the story of Aeneas' wanderings from Troy to Italy, and the poem's second half tells of the Trojans' ultimately victorious war upon the Latins, under whose name Aeneas and his Trojan followers are destined to be subsumed.

The Iliad - An Introduction

The Iliad is an epic that tells about only a few weeks during the Trojan War. The Iliad does not tell the entire story of the war, which is supposed to have lasted for ten years. But the audience is expected to be familiar with the entire story of the Trojan War, including all the events that occurred before and after the war. These pre- and post-war events are referred to in the Iliad, but they are not explained, so here are a few of the most important stories.
