A Wolf’s Yawp on a Starry Night

""This book is a collection of poetry that I've written over several of years. My poetry is heavily influenced by the works of Raymond Carver, Walt Whitman, and Robert Burns. I write about the joy and pain of love, growing up in South Dakota, my love for Hawaii, and the quieter moments in life that enlighten our soul. The title of this book, """"A Wolf's Yawp on a Starry Night,"""" is an homage to the one animal I truly fear: a wolf; my favorite literary term coined by Whitman: a Yawp; and one of my favorite paintings, """"Starry Night"""" by Van Gogh.""
