"Burning Daylight" is the nickname given to the main character of the novel. Initially, the idea of the story is taken from the life of Oakland businessman 'Borax' Smith. In search of good fortunes, he went Alaska, he discovered his good luck but unfortunately deceived by a group of people. Later by using arms he recovered the wealth.
