Ragavachari, A Great Astrologer

Our astrologer, Ragavachari, a quinquagenearian, protagonist of this novel, is not only a pietistic, religiose & self-righteous Brahmin but also plays a pivot role in the life of his son Baskar, -Shyamala- Vidhya Kiran & Vijay Kiran & he was propped up by a notorious politician, Sivasankar with whom he had been in his good books ever since the birth of his daughter, Meenah, & our Astrologer, at the end of the novel, the climax of the novel, unfolds the secrets which none expects including the readers of this novelette. Baskar, a trigamist, though a protagonist of this 'Romantic suspense novel' as well as a doctor by profession (Medical student) turns into a philanderer & accomplishes nothing usefully in his life like his lovers, Shyamala, Vidhya Kiran & Vijay Kiran.
