The Peoples Linguistic Survey of India is a rights-based movement for carrying out a nation-wide survey of Indian languages especially languages of fragile communities such as nomadic, coastal, island hill and forest communities. This book is Part 1of Volume 24 (Punjab Ki Bhashayen Hindi) of The Peoples Linguistic Survey of India (PLSI) undertaken and executed by the Bhasha Research and Publication Centre, Baroda. The book contains the information on language and linguistic variety of the Punjab State of India supported by political map given in the preliminary pages.
