Epilepsy in the Western Pacific Region: A Call to Action, Global Campaign Against Epilepsy

Epilepsy is the most common serious brain disorder worldwide, with 85 per cent of the estimated 50 million people affected living in developing countries. Studies have shown that if properly treated, over two-thirds of people with this neurological condition can live productive and fulfilling lives, free from seizures. This publication contains information on activities undertaken within the Global Campaign against Epilepsy in the Western Pacific region.
