This report summarises the findings of a joint FAO/WHO meeting, held in August 2002 in Bangkok, to discuss the risk assessment of Campylobacter spp. in broiler chickens and Vibrio spp. in seafood. It provides a preliminary response to the risk management questions on these pathogens that were posed by the Codex Committee on Food Hygiene and the Codex Committee for Fish and Fishery Products, and also provides advice on how these risk assessments can be adapted and used by member countries.
