Jason Wylie is just a regular guy: a struggling retail employee with a dead-in-the-water love life, trying to scrap up enough money by the end of the week to chug beers with his buddies at the Urban Turban. Big Mama is not so regular: a strangely intelligent four foot slug that Jason discovers giving birth in his washing machine. Jason forms a friendship with the odd progeny, an army of shape-shifting creatures slavishly devoted to him, exacting revenge on his enemies and bringing a huge bag full of money to his door. Jason has to be careful not to fall out of favor with the Serpenteras as their astonishing abilities can easily be turned against him. Getting on the wrong side of Big Mama is bad, for hell hath no fury like a 4-foot slug monster scorned.
