Foerfattaren utforskar livet i denna novellsamling, utan skygglappar och med den karghet som kannetecknar livet sjalvt, utan att gloemma karleken och lusten.

Foer egen del har det varit riktigt roligt att skriva dessa noveller eftersom jag fritt kunnat slanga mig mellan olika genrer, olika miljoeer och olika tidsepoker. Det finns ingen roed trad att foelja, du kan boerja lasa vart du vill, eller sa boerjar du zappa fran boerjan.
