A recurring theme in the photographs of Micky Hoogendijk is that she sees herself through the eyes of others. This book tells her personal story in images, where her doll house, dreams, memories, reality and fiction, models and gender play an important role. It is, among other things, an ode to Hoogendijk’s mother, who gave her the camera she now uses just before she passed away.
