National income and product estimates are used extensively worldwide. During the 1950s, P. Studenski’s work addressed the topic. With more extensive compilations, more sophisticated applications, results and methodology, and far-reaching international agreements, the international comparability in accounts is now insured. Ths volume supplements earlier research in national accounting with an historical overview that shows the development in national income and product accounts.
