This book is the only book that gives a quantitative process engineering approach to granulation processes. It gives the basis for logical and effective scale up of processes, formulation design and process optimisation built on very significant increase in understanding developed in this area in the last decade. Much of this understanding has been developed by the authors and collaborators. [Other books in the area are largely qualitative descriptions of equipment and processes.] Thus, this book is truly unique and we think ground breaking.
